Student Outreach Clinical Training Program

At Speech Tactics, we are committed to helping shape the future of pediatric therapy through our advanced Student Outreach Clinical Program. Founded upon a shared commitment to excellence, the Student Outreach Clinical Program is designed to provide college students in various fields of pediatric therapy with unparalleled externships and clinical placements at Speech Tactics. Our outreach program also offers shadowing opportunities for high school students who are interested in pediatric therapy. We believe in reaching, engaging, and nurturing the potential of each student accepted into our program at all levels. As students embark on this transformative experience, our goal is to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to become compassionate and competent pediatric therapy professionals.

At the heart of our program is our dedicated interdisciplinary team of therapists, who serve as supervisors, mentors, and guides. They are the backbone of the Student Outreach Clinical Program, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous learning for our students. Those students who enter our clinical programs leave with more than just a completion grade. They leave our organization with the courage to make a difference, enhanced clinical knowledge, the fortitude to excel during challenging times, communication/collaboration skills to work as an effective team member, and professional insight to better understand and navigate the dynamic world of pediatric therapy.

Student Shadowing

"Shadow a Therapist" was created for high school students who are interested in the pediatric therapy fields.

Clinical Externships

Externship placements for Level 1 and Masters level clinicians. Spots are limited. Candidates are interviewed for all placements openings.

Fellowships and PhD Students

A comprehensive interview is required. Students receive a rich and thorough clinical experience with onsite mentorship.
