Engage, Empower, & Equip: Navigating the Journey Together

Are you a parent/caregiver of a child with special needs, developmental delay, and/or neurodivergent learning differences? The PRESS parent groups at Speech Tactics is here to provide you with the support, resources, and the community you need to help you along this journey. Our PRESS groups focuses on Engaging, Empowering, and Equipping parents and caregivers like you with information and tools to help you become your child’s greatest advocate! PRESS is a safe space for parents from all backgrounds to connect with other parents, and to know you are not alone.

The PRESS Parent Groups include closed and open group invitations for parent/caregivers at Speech Tactics.

  • PRESS Parent Group- These 8-week sessions are led by our licensed clinical psychologist and designed for parents/caregiver of children enrolled in our Behavioral Health Program. This is a closed group which means participants are invited to join and commit to the 8-week program.
  • Wellness Workshops: Discover strategies to improve your well-being as a parent/caregiver. Learn self-care techniques to manage stress and prioritize your mental and emotional health as you venture the journey of being your child greatest advocate and role model!
  • Parent Development Classes: Gain insights into effective parenting techniques tailored to your child’s developmental needs. Develop skills to foster growth, communication, and understanding. These classes are all about growth and shifting your mindset to one of exploration during the therapeutic journey!
  • Child-Parent Interaction Sessions: Strengthen your bond with your child through guided sessions that promote positive interactions and communication.
  • Dad-ication Breakfast Banter: Connect with other Dads to share your journey of discovery while raising a child with special needs and gifted abilities. Dedicated dads deserve a safe space to feel heard and understood too.
  • Community Resource Events: Access valuable resources, information, and local services through our community events. Connect with organizations dedicated to enhancing the lives of families like yours.
