At The LEEAP Center, we take pride in providing comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services that are grounded in evidence-based practices and compassionate client care. Our multidisciplinary clinic setting ensures that each client receives individualized quality care, tailoring treatment plans to their unique needs. We take an innovative approach that integrates naturalistic learning opportunities to promote our clients’ independence in familiar daily living activities, helping them achieve meaningful and lasting progress as they reach developmental milestones-one step at a time! With a full-time clinical psychologist on staff, our ABA clients have access to additional psychological services to help families navigate the social, mental and emotional factors that may arise with an Autism diagnosis. We want to support families holistically while adding our unique and innovative approach to ABA therapy.
What is ABA Therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically supported approach that focuses on understanding and
improving behavior through meaningful, evidence-based strategies. While it’s widely recognized for
supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ABA principles also benefit individuals with
various developmental, behavioral, and learning differences.
At Speech Tactics, we go beyond the traditional model—our ABA therapy is not about “fixing behaviors,” but
about understanding the child behind them.
A Child-Focused, Natural Discovery Approach
We believe that the most powerful learning happens naturally. Our therapists follow the child’s lead—integrating play, exploration, and real-life experiences into every session. Each moment, whether structured or spontaneous, becomes a natural learning opportunity for communication, problem-solving, and emotional growth.
Through this child-led approach, therapy feels less like instruction and more like discovery—creating a harmonious foundation for connection, understanding, and lasting skill development.
Every moment is an opportunity to connect, communicate, and grow. Through this child-led approach, therapy feels less like instruction and more like discovery—creating a harmonious foundation for connection, understanding, and lasting skill development.

Redefining “Behavior”
At Speech Tactics, behavior means so much more than actions we can see—it’s a reflection of how a child experiences their world. We define behavior as an individual’s response to both internal and external stimuli, and that can include being curious, joyful, cautious, playful, anxious, or engaged.
By observing and interpreting these behaviors with empathy and precision, our clinicians uncover each child’s unique qualities, motivations, and strengths.
Our Interdisciplinary Model: Better Together
What truly sets Speech Tactics apart is our collaborative, interdisciplinary model. Our ABA therapy works hand-in-hand with Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Psychological Services—ensuring a whole-child approach that enhances learning across every domain.
This collaboration leads to:
● Quicker skill advancement and stronger generalization
● Improved communication and emotional regulation
● Better outcomes for children and families
When therapy is unified, progress multiplies- that’s what interdisciplinary means at LEEAP.
ABA at LEEAP. Beyond Therapy. Toward Connection.
Our ABA program is built on one belief: that every child is capable of connection, joy, and progress when therapy honors their individuality.
At Speech Tactics, we don’t just teach skills—we nurture relationships, build confidence, and celebrate growth every step of the way!
Our Innovative Approach
We take pride in our thoughtful approach to ABA therapy which includes the following:
Naturalistic Learning Opportunities
We believe in the power of incorporating natural environments into therapy sessions, allowing clients to learn and generalize skills in real-life situations.
Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)
Through a comprehensive FBA, we identify the root causes of challenging behaviors and develop targeted interventions to address them effectively.
Individualized Treatment Plans
Each client’s treatment plan is tailored to their specific strengths, needs, and goals, ensuring the most efficient and impactful therapy outcomes.
Parent and Caregiver Training
We actively involve parents and caregivers in the therapy process, equipping them with strategies to support their loved ones beyond the clinic setting. Parents/caregivers participate in 1:1 training with your child’s team
Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration
We utilize an interdisciplinary team approach with all of our families. This means multiple therapy professionals may contribute clinical insight, interventions, and recommendations to help plan your child’s success journey
